A Precinct Chair is the central manager for the smallest unit in the Republican Party. As the only elected party official in the precinct, a precinct Chair has roles and responsibilities in and to, the Republican Party. The number one job as a Precinct Chair is to maximize the Republican vote in your precinct. This can be accomplished by:
Maintain Records:
- Precinct Chairs should maintain records of their precinct’s Volunteers, Contributor’s
- Whenever a PC leaves office, that information is to be given to the incoming PC or left with the County Chair to be handed down.
- Notebook should be kept of all Agendas, Minutes, and Treasurer reports. This too, should be passed down when leaving position an historical document.
- Getting People in your Precinct involved
- Identifying voters
- Registering Republican Voters
- Informing Voters
- Recruit Volunteers
- Coordinate Activities
- Get Out The Vote
- Support local, State and National Conservative Republican candidates.
- Deliver our message to non-active and non-traditional Republican voters.
- Attending monthly meetings with your County Republican Executive Committee.
